'twas the night before christmas, and all through the house, not a creature stirred, not even a mouse (or something).
That's because of the roving mad hairdresser that eventually got me - yes, my hair is finally short, with no more Beatle-type mop. You might even be able to make it out in this photo of me at my local tramstop...

People keep asking where I live, so the middle photo is of my apartment block. My window is the dark blob in the centre, at the top.

And just down the road are my local shops, for all my grocery and sunday-morning- coffee-shop-and-newspaper needs. Just down the road in the other direction is the Middle Park beach (below).
Damn, I love palm trees!

Just before christmas we got some spectacular sunsets, of which this picture can only give you an idea - the whole sky was this deep red, quite amazing...

Tankers seem to be a prominent feature of Port Philip Bay and, when I am feeling all artistic, I can make them fit in with the scenery rather nicely. Orders are taken on [snip] !

It was another busy time at HotelJimmy.
First up were Matthew and Katie for a couple of days, until they found somwhere nicer (!), and then Kate, Lyndsey and Rona, who were friends [acquaintances?] of Stewart from his time up in Cairns.

They stayed a little longer than expected, no doubt impressed by my hospitality - even having dinner on the table waiting for when I got back from work. The perfect guests?
The only problem with having lots of friends round is the amount of restaurants we end up visiting - here we all are at a Vietnamese one.
