Sydney, December '98 - The Tourist Shot!

My first temp assignment, and I manage to swing a harbour cruise. Not bad! This is me with my friends from the Commonwealth Bank in Martin Place.

A typical Aussie Christmas Day, although at Manly - away from all the rest of the backpackers...

Can anyone recognise the beach from Home and Away? Well this is it - Palm Beach, north Sydney.

This is the 'Barmy Army' in full strength on the second day of the Fifth Test at the SCG - if you look closely, you may even see Des Lynam?

This is a section of the beautiful coastal walk, in between the beaches of Bronte and Bondi...

...and this is Bronte beach itself. A favourite weekend spot, and only twenty minutes bus ride from our 'serviced apartment'.

One of my christmas presents this year was a cuddly Wombat (?), unfortunately I seem to have driven it to a grissly end. (I saved it just in time, for all you animal lovers out there...)

And this is me, sailing a boat, on Sydney Harbour - wind in the sails and also in my hair, giving me a ridiculous bouffant hairdo.
